Verena Berger is a freelance writer who lives in Williams Lake, the heart of
British Columbia.
Her creative nonfiction stories have been published in North America, Europe,
and Australia.. Her fiction stories are being published in magazines such as The
Prairie Journal. Her slice-of-life sketches, which carry a clear Canadian tune,
have also appeared on e-zines.
Verena continues to further her education at Thompson Rivers University. She
leads an active working writer’s group, has organized writer’s workshops and
attends numerous seminars every year.
